Degree tips
Mathematics Degrees
Why take an online college math course?
Graduate programs typically require students become familiar with statistics. You may find it more convenient to complete an online college math course in statistics rather than attend a regular class each week. This is especially true if there will be undergraduate students in the class and you don’t want to be around younger students while you struggle through the basics of statistics. Make sure to talk to the course instructor of your graduate program to let him/her know that you'll be completing the required math class online, and verify with your graduate school that the online math course is transferable toward the completion of your graduate degree.
